Back again with another book review! This time it's The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith! I love love love LOVE how she writes, I'd give it a 4.5/5 maybe even a 5/5! If you're looking for a cute and adorable contemporary, this might just be it.
So, to be completely honest and fair, I never actually heard of this book before until I entered Kinokuniya. The book was placed on one of the first racks and I stumbled upon it there. I wanted to get the book but I wasn't sure because it seemed like one of those cliche love stories. Despite the fact, I managed to get my hands on this book due to a friend who was kind enough to get this for me. Thank you so sooo muchhh if you're reading this!
When I read the first pages, I knew I'd love the book. This is probably the closest thing I've got to loving geography. The book takes me to places around the world and I loved how Jennifer E. Smith managed to make me feel like I'm a part of it, as if i was travelling with them. I really enjoyed how the book shows different point of views and how she managed to show the separate life of Lucy and Owen.
Their love story was cute and their relationship is just nfaogiogfaoivaiodgnad adorable! The book was fast paced and it only took me a couple days to finish. I loved it! I REALLY COULDN'T GET MY HANDS OFF THIS BOOK. I don't know what else to say but if you're thinking of getting this book, don't even hesitate. Everything in this book felt so real and somehow relatable. I am still in love with this book! Looking forward to buying more of Jennifer E. Smith's novels because this one was awesome! And to those who said we could travel around the world just by reading a book? It is true, it really is.
